Kelsey & Fabian were married on March 23rd, 2019 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. They held their reception at Station 3, a historic former fire station in downtown Houston. Kelsey & Fabian’s wedding planning journey was a whirlwind, filled with lots of family help. Kelsey was knee deep in her 2nd year medical residency work & also traveled to Africa during wedding planning. I’m not lying when I say Kelsey & Fabian’s wedding day was perfection from beginning to end. Every detail was executed masterfully & you could tell from the smiles on their faces that Kelsey & Fabian were overjoyed to finally, finally (after 13 years!) be husband & wife.

The Deacon from Fabian’s home church, Gilbert Johnson, married Kelsey & Fabian in the beautiful Annunciation Catholic Church. The church just celebrated their 150 year anniversary & is a work of art! Deacon Gilbert spoke of the long courtship Kelsey & Fabian had & how their love has grown & matured, just as they have.

Guests traveled to Station 3 after the ceremony for Kelsey & Fabian’s reception. Guests were welcomed by delicious Hors d'oeuvres by City View Catering & lawn games in Station 3’s gorgeous courtyard. I need to take a minute to brag about Julia with Set in Stone events. She was the planner for Kelsey & Fabian’s wedding day & I’ve never seen a planner do such a wonderful job of staying on top of everything. You can tell when people love what they do because it shows in their work.
Fabian & his groomsmen entered into the reception by sliding down the fire pole. Kelsey & her bridesmaids took a safer, more dress friendly entrance & came down the industrial inspired staircase. Kelsey & Fabian went right into their first dance as husband & wife & they danced to “No Place” by Backstreet Boys. It was such a pretty, meaningful song to their journey together & I had no idea it was by Backstreet Boys until I just now looked it up. My inner 90’s girl heart is happy! Their guests were invited upstairs to eat dinner & the decor was out of this world. The bright floral arrangements designed by An Event Design were breathtaking. The florist, Tom Anderson, is actually Kelsey’s paternal uncle & he knocked it out of the park. Their wedding theme was all things travel & adventure & every single detail reflected that. Kelsey & Fabian have had many adventures together so far, but like her Dad said in his toast, their greatest adventure is just beginning… marriage!
